Job summary

JLL is hiring an Intern in Property Engineering in Minneapolis, MN to learn operations, inspections, and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety systems, and building automation. You will rotate through three buildings and work under supervision of the onsite Chief/Lead Engineer, reporting to the program Director and Assistant Director.

The role provides hands-on experience in operations, safety training, and program materials while developing practical skills in building

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an Engineering program or interested in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other trades-related program.

Responsibilities

Learning the basics of building operations while assisting the engineering team in maintenance, repair and inspections of the building and equipment.
Rotate through 3 unique buildings in the Minneapolis area to learn various systems and processes within the properties.
Assisting with general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and automation.
Assist with completing assigned work orders or preventative maintenance tasks in Prism.
Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe condition.
Participate in technical, safety and operational training programs as assigned.
Attend industry sponsored training programs (if available).
Complete other program materials and/or projects as assigned by Director or Assistant Director.
