Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is offering a Property Engineering Summer 2027 Internship in Minneapolis, MN. The program runs June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, onsite at Minneapolis properties, giving students hands-on exposure to building operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and automation systems.

Interns learn through supervision of the Chief/Lead Engineer and report to the program Director. Eligible candidates are currently enrolled in an engineering or trades-related program with

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering program or interested in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or trades-related field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn operations, inspections, and maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire life safety systems.
• Rotate through three buildings in Minneapolis to learn systems and processes.
• Assist with general maintenance and with completing work orders or preventive maintenance in Prism.
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean, safe condition.
• Participate in training programs and project assignments as directed.
