Job summary

JLL is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Eagan, MN, to keep critical HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems operating at peak performance. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to repairs to deliver reliable building operations for clients.

The role requires hands-on experience with air handlers, pumps, motors, and plumbing infrastructure, plus a solid commitment to safety codes and on-site teamwork. Local shift: 1st shift, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in commercial facilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
• Knowledge of facility systems maintenance including air handlers, pumps, motors, and plumbing infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of safety codes and best practices for facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service HVAC infrastructure including air handlers, cooling towers, fans, motors, pumps, bearings, and steam components; perform routine tasks like coil cleaning and filter replacement.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules on base building and critical infrastructure equipment; log work orders in the CMMS.
• Repair and maintain facility plumbing systems including toilets, urinals, sinks, piping, and water fountains; monitor system integrity with leak detection equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and facility improvements including carpentry, painting, sheet metal work; patching and exterior maintenance.
• Diagnose system failures across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; adhere to safety codes and regulations.
• Coordinate scheduled repairs with clients and participate in on-call and overtime rotations.
