Job summary

Churchill County is seeking a Deed & Title Review Specialist to maintain accuracy of property ownership, parcel information, and GIS mapping. This full-time role collaborates with appraisal staff, county departments, and the public to safeguard the integrity of property records and related databases.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in records management, legal documents, and mapping.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with coursework in business, finance, accounting, or related field and two years admin/finance/legal experience.
• Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions, deeds, and cadastral maps.
• Experience with GIS mapping and property records is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit and verify ownership records and parcel data for accuracy.
• Review deeds, title documents, and maps for completeness.
• Maintain GIS parcel database and property records.
• Assist with data entry and report generation.
• Respond to public inquiries regarding parcels and assessments.
