Clyde & Co in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Property Coverage Litigation Attorney to join our insurance litigation team. You will handle complex, high-exposure matters and work closely with partners and clients on strategy and case management.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing.
• Insurance coverage experience preferred; open to other litigation backgrounds.
• Strong academic credentials and/or solid work history.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Interpersonal, leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of complex litigation from inception through resolution.
• Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and management.
• Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions and briefs and related correspondence.
• Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Attend depositions, hearings and mediations.
• Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines and client communications.
• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions and recommendations.
