Los Angeles LGBT Center is seeking a Property Repair professional in the Facilities Department. The role conducts routine and corrective building maintenance across several locations, handling carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repair tasks to maintain safe environments.
The position uses a CMMS to manage work orders and coordinate with vendors and contractors on-site. Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential in a busy healthcare setting.

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Facilities Department is a team of over 80 employees responsible for the safety, security, maintenance, and cleanliness of the Centers’ ten locations throughout the Los Angeles area. These facilities cover a wide variety of uses including medical facilities, residential facilities, community rooms, theatres, offices, industrial kitchens, and a coffee shop. The Facilities Department is a great team with hardworking people who enjoy maintaining a wonderful atmosphere for clients and staff who are looking for a community to belong to.
JOB SUMMARY: The position performs routine and corrective building maintenance and repairs across multiple locations using a computerized maintenance management system to receive and manage work orders. The role completes hands‑on repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general facilities work to maintain safe, functional environments.
