Merion Milford Apartments in Milford, CT, is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead the property team and manage leasing, operations, and resident relations. The role requires 3–5 years in property management and supervisory experience, with strong computer skills including Yardi, CRM, SightPlan, RentCafe, and MS Office.

This on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a performance-based NOI bonus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in property management, preferably as Leasing Consultant or Assistant Community Manager.
• Prior supervisory experience including annual budget processing, accounting, interviewing, and performance management.
• Ability to lead staff and communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Strong computer skills with Yardi, CRM, SightPlan, RentCafe, LRO and MS Office.
• Knowledge of ILM CRM and lead management to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Active state real estate license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train property associates and support leasing operations.
• Assist in selecting and interviewing property staff; participate in performance reviews.
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and rent collections to maintain solvency.
• Coordinate marketing, open houses, and leasing events to drive occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, landlord-tenant laws, and company policies.
• Oversee maintenance coordination, inspections, and vendor relationships.
• Lead tours, show model and vacant units, and promote property amenities.
• Maintain tenant relations and handle escalations with a focus on service.
