Job summary

Village Square Group is seeking a Cleaning Technician for full-time work in Lawrence, KS. The role focuses on maintaining the appearance and safety of properties under management, performing turnover cleans, and operating cleaning equipment under supervision.

You will report to the Property Manager and support daily administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of custodial/housekeeping experience, with strong knowledge of cleaning

Qualifications

• Completion of high school/GED and one year related custodial/housekeeping experience.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication with residents and staff.
• Willingness to perform snow removal, leaf raking, weeds, and related outdoor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned facilities and common areas to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.
• Perform turnover cleanings according to guidelines and expectations.
• Operate cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals safely.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; report damages or unsafe conditions.
• Assist with seasonal outdoor tasks (snow removal, raking leaves, pulling weeds).
• Accurately complete daily payroll timesheets and work orders; submit to Property Manager.
