Job summary

Volunteers of America-Texas in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time housekeeper to maintain interior common areas of property in a clean, healthy, and safe condition. The schedule runs Monday to Friday from 6am to 3pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all interior common areas of property in a clean, healthy, and safe manner.
• Maintains cleaning and housekeeping supplies inventories, including requisitioning of supplies as needed.
• Vacuums and dusts interior common areas daily.
• Vacuums carpets, sweeps and cleans floors of vacant units following the make ready form.
• Cleans public restrooms and laundry daily and checks for supplies.
• Washes windows and glass in common areas to include: lobby, office and community rooms, on a periodic basis.
• Sweeps, washes, and waxes floors in interior common areas weekly.
• Removes trash and debris in interior common areas daily.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Valid Texas Driver's License
