Cypress Property & Casualty Insurance Company in Florida seeks a Property Claims Adjuster to provide prompt, fair claim service on small to moderate claims, investigate coverage, communicate with customers and negotiate settlements. You will document activity in the claim system, maintain vendor relationships, stay current with policy and legal changes, and support cost-effective resolutions.

1–3 years of relevant experience and a Florida license are required; bilingual English/Spanish

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience adjusting small to moderate claims.
• Florida License in good standing; ability to acquire other licenses within 3 months.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; organization skills.
• Experience with adjusting claims and using claim management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Acknowledge claim assignments and verify policy coverage.
• Investigate claims to determine validity and extent of damage.
• Interpret policy and decide on coverage with independent judgment.
• Negotiate settlements and authorize payments within authority.
• Document claim activity clearly in the system and reports.
