Cypress Property & Casualty Insurance Company is seeking a Property Claims Adjuster to provide prompt, courteous, and fair claim service on small to moderate severity claims. The role investigates claims to determine coverage, communicates with customers, and collects essential information.

You will document activity in the claim system, negotiate settlements within authority, and strive for timely, cost-effective resolutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience adjusting small to moderate claims.
• Florida license in good standing; ability to obtain licenses within 3 months.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• Experience with Claim Management Systems.

Responsabilidades

• Acknowledge claim assignments; confirm policy coverage, direct adjustment.
• Interpret policy and determine coverage for small to moderate claims.
• Investigate claims to determine validity and extent of damage.
• Negotiate settlements and authorize payments within authority.
• Maintain electronic claim file with accurate, timely information.
• Develop relationships with vendors and experts; ensure proper documentation.
• Keep abreast of legal, tax, underwriting rules; ensure fair settlements.
• Conclude assigned claims promptly and equitably.
