• Underwrite, service and manage assigned accounts of moderate complexity.
• Assess exposure and determine rates, terms and conditions of coverage in accordance with guidelines and uses judgement underwriting to evaluate a risk.
• Determine whether to accept, modify, or decline risks; request reinsurance as necessary.
• Bind coverage and initiate issuance of documents.
• Sign policy and transmit documents to brokers and markets as required.
• Develop or modify policy wording when standard text is not appropriate.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
