Holmes Murphy Insurance in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Client Service Specialist to join the Property Casualty team. You will prepare certificates, binders, and auto ID cards, handle invoicing, and ensure accuracy in policy transactions while supporting a best-in-class client experience.

The role requires 1 year of admin or customer service experience, with a Property Casualty license or plan to obtain within 3 months. A culture of growth and DEI is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
• Invoices agency bill transactions for new and renewal policies, monthly installments, endorsements, and audits.
• Ensures accuracy of invoicing and collaborates with accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Orders policy changes from carriers, updates agency management system/exposure schedules and sets follow-up tasks.
• Investigates and corrects omitted items and commission differences on premium discrepancies (policies, audits and endorsements).
• Gathers quotes from online platforms.
• Assesses quotes and binders on accounts for accuracy and prepares proposal documents for clients.
