Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Property Billing Specialist to own billing, accounting, and operational administration for complex Property accounts. You will coordinate with Brokers, Risk Analysts, Billing, Accounting, carriers, and clients to resolve issues and keep account teams informed.

The role requires strong Excel skills, 2–4 years of bookkeeping or related experience, and a focus on accuracy, deadlines, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and basic accounting principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with billing workflows and office software.

Responsibilities

• Review billing instructions for completeness and accuracy and submit billing requests.
• Maintain accurate information in Smartsheet and ensure items are coded correctly.
• Deliver invoices to clients and track payments with Receivables team.
• Support timely payments by coordinating with Payables and responding to inquiries.
• Resolve billing issues during renewal periods and beyond, including discrepancies.
• Provide status updates to account teams and support billing operations.
• Develop and maintain billing procedures and templates.
• Follow up with carriers for binding documentation and deliver policies.
