Job summary

The Town of Killingly seeks an experienced assessor to support analysis, evaluation, and assessment of real and personal property, including discovery of taxable property and residential valuation.

The role involves Grand List preparation, periodic revaluation programs, and ensuring compliance with CT certification requirements; a bachelor's degree and several years of assessment experience are required, with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field.
• Three years of assessment experience, including one year of supervision.
• Specific training courses in appraisal and/or assessment procedures.
