Qualifications

• One year of job-related experience.
• Montana certification in residential property appraisal (IAAO 101) within the first year.
• USPAP training is required to practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property reviews and inspections.
• Analyze land uses and benchmark land models.
• Respond to taxpayer inquiries and provide dispute resolution.
• Estimate property values using cost or market approaches.
• Identify properties for appraisal review and determine final values.
• Document assumptions and limiting conditions.
