part-time; Monday - Friday; typical hours are 9am - 3pm, with an hour lunch.

Summary and Responsibilities

As the Property Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our property. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks, and takes pride in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. The Property Administrator will serve as a primary point of contact for visitors, tenants, vendors, and phone inquiries while providing general administrative support to the property management team.

What This Position Looks Like:
  • Greet and assist walk-in visitors, residents, vendors, and guests professionally and courteously.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
  • Provide basic administrative and clerical support to the property management team.
  • Scheduling appointments and property tours; following up with prospective residents.
  • Assist the property manager with applications and move-in paperwork.
  • Making copies, scanning and uploading documents, filing paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation.
  • Send notices to residents.
  • Keep track of resident work orders and maintenance requests.
  • Keep the office and property paperwork organized.
  • Assist with resident events and activities.
  • Assist with property-related administrative requests and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area and office area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
The Knowledge and Skills Needed from You:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative or office experience.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Previous property management or real estate experience is a plus, but not required.
Working Environment/Physical Demands

This position is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs, extensive walking around the property, frequent sitting, etc.). Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing. Must have normal range of vision to general paperwork and handle computerized bookkeeping duties; hearing and speech to communicate with residents, vendors, supervisors and coworkers on the telephone or in person on a regular basis. Must handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis. Works in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e., heat, cold, damp, rain, etc.) when touring property.
