Job summary

Aprio is seeking a senior property accounting professional in the United States to deliver accurate financials and advisory services. You will manage rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, lease schedules, and tenant ledgers while supporting audits and client needs.

You will collaborate with a global team, act as the main client contact, and provide proactive guidance to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables and opportunities for service expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Accounting and CPA preferred.
• 4+ years of property accounting experience, client service environment.
• Delivers month-end financials and advisory work to clients.
• Proficient in US GAAP and real estate accounting principles.
• Knowledge of property management systems and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with global team to maintain a productive environment.
• Acts as primary contact for clients and delivers timely financials.
• Completes ad hoc client projects and provides review notes on draft work papers.
• Performs variance analysis and delivers actionable commentary for client review.
• Ensures timely completion of client deliverables and monthly financial reporting packs.
• Manages rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, lease schedules, and tenant ledgers.
• Oversees accounts payable and receivable for property operations.
• Utilizes Yardi, MRI, and CAS platforms for reporting and analysis.
• Assists clients during audits and coordinates with external auditors.
• Mentors junior staff and identifies growth opportunities for services.
