Job summary

Glazer Properties is seeking an accounting professional to support operations and ensure the integrity of accounting information.

You will manage ledgers for a portfolio, prepare monthly/quarterly statements for investors, and assist with budget planning and process improvements.

The role requires a bachelor's in accounting, 2+ years' experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, collaborative attitude. A competitive compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in accounting preferred with 2+ years experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in Excel; Spreadsheet Server strongly preferred.
• Self-starter in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers for a portfolio of properties.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for investors and lenders.
• Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews.
• Assist with budget preparation.
• Maintain fixed asset records.
• Revenue analysis and reconciliations.
• Assist with reconciliations as necessary.
• Participate in planning and implementation of process improvements/new technologies.
• Assist in year-end workpapers and schedules for external accountants.
• Participate in acquisition process with cash flow projections and lease data analysis.
