Orion Placement is seeking an experienced Property Accounting Manager in Boston to lead accounting, analysis, and reporting for a diverse CRE portfolio. You will supervise a team, collaborate with senior leadership, and drive monthly closes, budgeting, and process improvements.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive accounting with CRE experience and 2+ years of supervisory leadership. Strong GAAP knowledge, Yardi/MRI experience, and US work authorization are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of commercial real estate or property accounting experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with monthly close, budgeting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Yardi and MRI experience is preferred.
• CPA is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Manage accounting, financial analysis, and reporting activities for a portfolio of real estate entities and assets.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes are accurate and timely.
• Review and approve financial workpapers, bank reconciliations, budgets, analyses, and GAAP reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of property accountants and support their development.
• Partner with property management, leasing, construction, asset management, and other teams.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and monthly financial reporting for senior management.
• Support internal controls and implement improvements.
• Assist with property management and accounting systems (Yardi/MRI).
• Provide hands-on accounting support during high-volume periods.
• Lead special projects and department-wide initiatives.
