Job summary

Phillips Edison & Company in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Property Accounting Intern for Spring 2027. You will report to a Property Accounting Team Lead and support the monthly close process while sharpening Excel skills.

Youll review rent charges, assist with CAM reconciliations for over 300 properties, and help with fixed asset activity and reporting. This internship offers hands-on accounting experience in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Qualifications

• A current undergraduate student able to work full-time during the semester.
• A current university student enrolled in accounting or related field with minimum GPA 3.0.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and on a team with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end close duties and review rent charges for accuracy.
• Ensure contract services are billed automatically based on vendor contracts.
• Prepare monthly utility accruals, fixed asset additions/disposals, and asset roll-forwards.
• Perform special projects such as CAM reconciliations for over 300 properties.
