Blue Castle Agency in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Property Accountant to own the books for a growing portfolio of market-rate communities. You will manage full-cycle accounting, prepare monthly statements, and support on-site teams across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property accounting experience.
• Comfortable managing books for more than one property at a time.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with property management software.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of market-rate residential communities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance reports, and owner reporting packages.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable across multiple properties.
• Reconcile bank accounts and manage cash flow property by property.
• Support budget prep and track budget-to-actual throughout the year.
• Partner with on-site property managers on rent collections and ledger questions.
• Help bring new properties onto the books as the portfolio grows.
• Keep general ledgers and supporting documentation audit-ready.
• Pitch in on financial analysis and reporting as the company scales.
