CFS, a long-standing real estate company in York, PA, is seeking a Property Accountant to join its accounting team. The role involves full-cycle accounting across multiple properties and a focus on accuracy, governance, and timeliness.

You will work onsite five days a week in the office with opportunities for flexible scheduling when needed, and you will benefit from competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–4+ years in property accounting, real estate, or construction, or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of AR, AP, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and depreciation.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Process and reconcile payroll activities.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts.
• Analyze general ledger activity and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain tenant, vendor, and property accounting records.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and special projects.
• Assist with future accounting system implementation and process improvements.

• Strong Excel and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Collaborative, team-oriented attitude
• Yardi software experience preferred
