Job summary

firstPRO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Property Accountant in Delaware to support accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of 70+ commercial and residential properties. This role is 100% onsite and offers a direct-hire path with growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in property accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and strong GAAP knowledge. Yardi experience is highly preferred, with competitive benefits including health insurance and 401(k)

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and prepare monthly financial statements
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Complete bank, balance sheet, and CAM reconciliations
• Manage tenant billing and property-related accounting
• Assist with property budgets and cash flow forecasts
• Support year-end audits and financial reporting
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and other property-level accounting

Our client, an established real estate organization in Delaware, is hiring an experienced Property Accountant to join its team due to continued growth. This individual will support accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of 70+ commercial and residential properties. ***100% Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close and prepare monthly financial statements
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Complete bank, balance sheet, and CAM reconciliations
• Manage tenant billing and property-related accounting
• Assist with property budgets and cash flow forecasts
• Support year-end audits and financial reporting
