Job summary

The Property Accountant at CFS will prepare monthly financial statements for a portfolio of properties, perform month-end close, and ensure accurate general ledger activity.

You will partner with property managers to review financial performance, support audits, and contribute to year-end reporting. This role offers exposure to multiple property portfolios, real estate operations, and a path for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; property/real estate experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills with analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and complete month-end close activities for an assigned portfolio of properties.
• Record journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger activity.
• Partner with property managers to review financial performance, resolve accounting questions, and support operational success.
• Assist with audits, year-end reporting, and special accounting projects as assigned.
