Job Title: Property Accountant

Blayze Recruitment has partnered with an established and growing Real Estate Firm in Houston, Texas, to find a Property Accountant. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for real estate, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers.
2. Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
3. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
4. Ensure accuracy in financial documents and compliance with standards and regulations.
5. Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
6. Collaborate with property management teams for accurate financial reporting.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
3. Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
4. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
