Senior Accountant Role Summary

Seeking a highly analytical individual to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions related to the 340B program, analyze data, identify issues, and provide recommendations. Responsibilities include recording and reviewing claim transactions, reconciling large data sets, and quality control over 340B reporting in Excel.

Major Responsibilities

• Retrieve claim data, review for accuracy, and reconcile in Excel.
• Calculate and record accounting entries for revenue, COGS, inventory, accruals, and payables based on contractual obligations.
• Consolidate large Excel data sets for analysis and reconciliation.
• Track inventory receivable details and create manual aging reports.
• Verify invoices and support claim calculations.
• Resolve variances between external reports and internal data.
• Analyze monthly results and communicate findings.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Communicate with internal and external partners on 340B issues.
• Develop and document policies to maintain internal controls and improve processes.
• Assist outside auditors during annual audits.

Position Qualifications

Behavior Competencies:

• Degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in accounting, month-end close, data reconciliation.
• Desired: Experience with medical/pharmacy claim data and inventory reporting.
