Job summary

Colin McKenzie Consulting seeks an experienced Commercial Property Accountant in Delaware to support monthly close, financial reporting, and budgeting for a sizable property portfolio. Responsibilities include financial statement prep, reconciliations, journal entries, tenant billing, CAM reconciliations, and coordination with property management.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of property accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel skills.

Property Accountant - Delaware (Relocation Provided)

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Accountant to join a growing commercial real estate organization. This role will support the monthly close and financial reporting process for a sizable property portfolio, including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, journal entries, tenant billing, CAM reconciliations and general ledger accounting. The position will also work closely with property management on budgeting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of property accounting experience, a strong understanding of GAAP and strong Excel skills. Experience with CAM reconciliations, CPI increases, tenant billing and commercial real estate accounting is highly preferred. A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred. Experience with Yardi, MRI or similar property management/accounting software is also preferred.
