Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with financial statements and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of cash and accrual accounting.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements for an assigned portfolio of properties.
• Record monthly journal entries, including accruals and adjusting entries.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close.
• Assist with CAM, insurance, and real estate tax reconciliations.
• Review tenant rent billings for accuracy.
• Prepare lender reporting and financial schedules as needed.
• Assist with year-end audits and prepare audit support schedules.
• Analyze financial results and investigate discrepancies.
• Partner with property management and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects as portfolio grows.
