Excel Sports Management’s Spring 2027 Intern, Properties (New York) program is a paid internship in New York City. The role operates in a hybrid setup, with interns in-office about 3 days per week and the remainder remote.

Hours are 24–29.9 per week, and the program runs January 11, 2027 to May 6, 2027. Applicants should be a senior (completed junior year) or enrolled in graduate school, or hold a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.

Qualifications

• Be available to work under 30 hours per week.
• Be available to report to the New York Office approximately 3-days a week.
• Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad) OR be enrolled in graduate school OR have a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Properties team in drafting company briefs for calls/meetings with decision makers.
• Prospects potential leads across the full Properties client portfolio.
• Reads daily trade news and sports outlets and compiles relevant articles for team review.
• Learns how to identify the right decision-makers and contact information at each targeted company.
• Gains exposure to the commercial strategy of representing a property and completing the sales process for various marquee sponsorship assets.
