Job summary

Excel Sports Management is offering a paid Hospitality Intern position in New York with a hybrid schedule. The program runs roughly 24–30 hours per week, three in-office days, and starts January 11, 2027, through May 6, 2027. Interns cover their own transportation and housing.

Responsibilities include supporting end-to-end client hospitality initiatives, vendor research, event branding, and on-site materials. Travel for events and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Be available to work under 30 hours per week.
• Be available to report to the New York Office approximately 3-days a week.
• Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad)
• Be enrolled in a graduate school
• Have a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Assists Hospitality team with end-to-end client hospitality initiatives and programs, including venue research, activation and gifting ideation and deck creation for client deliverables.
• Will learn how to build and maintain positive client relationships that result in increased reliance upon Excel.
• Will learn how to develop ideas for engaging event branding, collateral, and on-site materials.
• Will learn how to create planning tracking tools and on-site materials: rooming lists, confirmation documents, food and beverage schedule, transportation manifest, etc.
• Assists in the management and data upload/tracking of client deliverables.
• Assists the Hospitality team with confidential client projects.
• Will gain cross-functional exposure in the collaboration of client presentations and/or pitches.

Education
