Job summary

Excel Sports Management, LLC. in New York offers a paid internship with a hybrid schedule. Interns work approximately 24-29.9 hours per week across divisions and gain in-office experience three days a week.

The Spring Program runs from January 11, 2027 through May 6, 2027. Office hours are 9:00 am–6:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday, with guidance from an advisor. Interns are responsible for their own transportation and housing.

Qualifications

• Senior standing in college or graduate student status required.
• Strong interest in prospecting and sports industry outreach.
• Ability to learn and support multiple divisions within Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support outbound prospecting activities and identify decision-makers.
• Research event planners and corporate buyers to build target leads.
• Build target lead lists aligned with talent across divisions.
• Monitor conference calendars and planning cycles for opportunities.
• Manage inbound inquiries when appropriate.
• Draft speaker pitch briefs to assist senior sellers.
• Assist in building a talent bank of speakers for pitches.
