Job summary

Excel Sports Management in Charlotte, NC is offering a Spring 2027 Brand Marketing Intern position. The program is hybrid, with in-office work about 3 days per week. Interns are expected to work under 30 hours weekly and arrange transportation and housing independently.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in college or graduate programs, with the opportunity to learn the coordination, planning, and negotiation skills used in athlete sponsorships and brand partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Assist Brand Marketing team with research and brainstorms to create market opportunities for clients.
• Assist in the management and data upload/tracking of client deliverables.
• Assist Brand Marketing team with confidential client projects.
• Gain understanding of coordination and planning for marketing events/appearances.
• Learn negotiation and execution of marketing contracts/appearances.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships leading to increased opportunities for Excel Sports Management.
• Support day-to-day management of ESM Brand Marketing clients across sponsorship marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate client-vendor relationships and activation deliverables.
