Job summary

Liberty Propane, Inc. is seeking a field service professional to install propane tanks, perform inspections, and support deliveries. You will maintain an on-site truck, complete service orders, and ensure compliance with NFPA 58 and 54.

The role requires a Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements when applicable, plus 2–3 years in propane/HVAC. Excellent communication and customer service are essential, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2–3 years of experience in propane, HVAC, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with propane systems, regulations, and industry standards.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn propane installation practices.
Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and professional appearance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments.

Responsibilities

Install tanks adhering to state and local requirements including NFPA 58 and 54.
Complete training and testing for required licenses and certifications as applicable.
Report incidents to General Manager.
Maintain a Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements as required.
Seasonal support: assist with deliveries by driving a delivery vehicle as necessary.
Complete and submit service orders daily.
Perform daily DVIR inspections of the truck and keep it in good condition.
Document and bill for parts used following pricing proposals.
Lift and move heavy equipment or materials up to 75 pounds.
Work on-call outside regular hours as needed.
