Job summary

Blumont Energy is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in our Radford, VA division. As a Service Technician you will install, troubleshoot, and service propane appliances and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

You will run gas service lines, set tanks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, while supporting emergency calls when needed. The role requires a high school diploma, a CDL Class B with Hazmat/Tanker/Air Brake preferred, and a strong safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong reading, writing and math skills.
• Valid CDL Class B with Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements preferred and a clean driving record.
• Experience with propane systems and appliances with a safety focus.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors.
• Dependable, team player with strong customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including after-hours and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain propane appliances and systems.
• Install gas service lines, set tanks, change regulators and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with bulk propane deliveries and operate tank trucks/trailers per DOT rules.
• Perform light maintenance on vehicles, grounds and facilities.
• Complete service tickets and work orders; provide professional customer communication.
• Support emergencies and after-hours service as required.
