Job summary

Foster Fuels is seeking a Propane Service Technician to install tanks and appliances, perform routine maintenance, and conduct system tests in customer sites in Huddleston, VA. The role requires safety-conscious work and clear communication with the Service Manager about job status.

Extended and on-call hours are required, with competitive benefits and opportunities for certifications. CDL-B within 6 months is required, along with a clean driving record and ongoing safety training.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.
• Moderate computer knowledge.
• Strong customer service and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Represent the values of Foster Fuels to customers in a professional and respectful manner.
• Install propane tanks and appliances at customer sites (above ground and underground).
• Provide maintenance on propane systems and appliances including leak checks and pressure checks.
• Ensure safety and proper operation and communicate with the Service Manager about installation issues.
