Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician in Waterbury, VT to install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers. You will operate a propane service vehicle, follow safety codes, and deliver exceptional service.

Applicants must hold a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, have a clean driving record, and pass a DOT physical with background checks. Outdoor work in all weather and lifting up to 70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check completed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along provided service routes.
• Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane.
• Adhere to all federal/state codes and AmeriGas policies; use required PPE.
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts as needed.
