Job summary

HOCON GAS in Waterbury, CT is seeking a propane service technician. You will install propane tanks and related equipment, inspect vehicles daily, and complete service orders and parts billing. Onboarding includes CDL endorsements (Class A or B) and Hazmat, with training on propane safety and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Class A OR B CDL required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (or ability to obtain quickly).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install propane tanks and equipment in compliance with NFPA 58/54 and regulations.
• Complete service orders, documentation, and parts billing daily.
• Provide seasonal delivery support by operating a delivery vehicle when needed.
• Conduct DVIRs and maintain truck in excellent working condition.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• Report incidents or safety concerns to the GM.
