Job summary

Ed Staub and Sons Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a Propane Service Technician to support customers in Hermiston, Oregon, and surrounding areas. This full-time role involves field service, emergency on-call response, and maintaining propane systems.

Duties include testing pipelines for leaks, dismantling meters, installing and repairing propane appliances, piping, and ensuring compliance. A CDL is required, with Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license required.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements preferred or in process.
• Must pass MVR, drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Test pipelines and equipment for leaks and determine pressure/flow.
• Dismantle meters/regulators; replace pipes, thermocouples, thermostats, valves, spindles.
• Install, repair propane appliances and perform system piping/conversion.
• Provide on-call emergency response and assist with propane deliveries as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and inventories and ensure regulatory compliance.
