Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in Kennebunk, ME is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at the customer service center. You will perform propane service and tank installations, and respond to customer emergencies while maintaining safety and high service standards.

The role requires a valid CDL (A or B) or willingness to obtain, 2-3 years of propane/oil/HVAC experience, Hazmat/tanker endorsement preferred, and Maine license or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Experience in propane/oil/HVAC service preferred.
• Hazmat/tanker endorsement preferred.
• Maine Propane & Natural Gas Technician License or willingness to obtain.
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no sponsorship for visas.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends.
• Perform tank maintenance and inspections at customer locations.
• Cross-train to assist with bobtail propane deliveries.
• Communicate proactively with Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.
