Job summary

Ed Staub & Sons, Inc. is looking for a full-time Propane Service Technician to provide excellent service to our customers in John Day and surrounding areas. This role involves testing equipment for leaks, installing and maintaining propane appliances, and providing exceptional customer support.

The ideal candidate will have a Class A or B CDL License with necessary endorsements, and will be dedicated to safety and quality service. We offer competitive pay between $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, health benefits, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and more!

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A or B CDL License with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Ability to pass an MVR check, drug screening, and background verification.
• Experience as a Propane Service Technician preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Test and examine pipelines and equipment for leaks and pressure.
• Install, repair, and maintain propane appliances.
• Provide emergency response on call.
• Measure, cut, and thread pipe as needed.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory.
