Job summary

Pinnacle Propane, LLC is seeking a Bulk Propane Driver and Service Technician to safely deliver propane and install, maintain, and repair tanks and appliances for customers. The role blends driving and field service, requiring strong safety awareness, independence, and excellent customer service.

You will respond to service calls, perform leak tests, and ensure compliance with NFPA, DOT, OSHA and company safety policies while maintaining professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of propane service, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, utility, or related field experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain within set timeframes.
• Hazmat Endorsement or ability to obtain within set timeframes.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate and ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol testing.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently.
• Knowledge of propane equipment and safety procedures is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane via bobtail truck safely and on schedule.
• Install, maintain, and repair propane tanks, systems, and appliances.
• Perform leak tests and safety inspections before service.
• Respond to emergency service calls and safety hazards.
• Educate customers on safe propane usage and operation.
• Complete required documentation and inspections in the company systems.
