Job summary

Pinnacle Propane, LLC is seeking a Bulk Propane Driver and Technician to safely deliver propane and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of tanks and appliances for residential and commercial customers. The role combines driving with hands-on service tasks in a hybrid field setting.

The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, able to work independently, and willing to respond to after-hours emergencies while upholding DOT and propane safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of propane service, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, utility, or related field experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Hazmat Endorsement or ability to obtain; DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane via bobtail truck and install, maintain, and repair tanks, systems, and appliances for residential and commercial customers.
• Install underground/aboveground service lines per NFPA 54, NFPA 58, DOT, and local regulations.
• Perform gas leak tests, pressure tests, and safety inspections before service.
• Diagnose and repair propane appliances and equipment and complete preventative maintenance.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain accurate documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours calls following safety procedures.
