Job summary

ThompsonGas seeks a skilled Propane Service Technician to safely deliver, install, and repair propane systems and appliances for customers. You will handle tank delivery, trenching, piping, leak testing, and customer education in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• CDL-A or CDL-B with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• 2+ years propane-related crossover experience (HVAC, gas fitting, plumbing, mechanic).
• Ability to lift propane tanks up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver, repair, and install propane systems and appliances.
• Transport tanks to customer sites and position them securely.
• Dig trenches for underground lines and install piping to standard.
• Perform leak testing and pressure checks for system integrity.
• Explain installation details and safety procedures to customers.
• Complete installation reports and required compliance checklists.
