Job summary

ThompsonGas in Tower, MN, is seeking a Delivery Driver/Service Technician to safely deliver propane and service customers and appliances in all weather. The role may require evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage, with a focus on safety and excellent customer service.

You must hold a valid CDL Class A or B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, two years of propane experience preferred, and be able to lift 75 lbs. Competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years related experience, propane industry preferred.
• Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must have valid HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations.
• Inspects vehicle and notifies manager of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• Proactively identifies and reports safety concerns and violations at the branch or customer sites.
• During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering any questions.
• Complete field repairs of tank valves and seals; finds and repairs leaks at customer site.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years related experience, propane industry preferred
