Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a Service Technician to install and repair residential and commercial propane and/or oil burner equipment. You will provide high-level customer service, maintain customer property, and act as a trusted advisor while adhering to brand commitments.

The role includes performing tune-ups, inspections, and safety checks, with opportunities for growth and industry-leading benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs oil and/or propane heating systems in accordance with codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Performs efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections.
• Ensures work is safe, accurate and professional to minimize callbacks and liability.
• Promotes the company as a trusted advisor through neat appearance and courteous service.
• Maintains neat, organized service vehicle and ensures tools/equipment are safe to use.
• Records parts and labor for service calls and tracks inventory.
• Participates in night and weekend on-call schedule as needed.
