Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a Service Technician to install and repair residential and commercial oil and propane heating equipment. You will provide excellent customer service while protecting customer property and maintaining safety standards.

The role includes on-call night/weekend duties, neat appearance, and promotion of company products. A high school diploma and relevant CETP/licensing are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school training preferred.
• Oil/propane heating service experience preferred.
• Apprentice/Journeyman/Master licensing as required in relevant states.
• CETP certification for propane technicians.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs oil/propane heating systems per codes and company policy.
• Performs efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections.
• Eliminates call-backs by ensuring safe, accurate work.
• Promotes company image as a trusted advisor with a neat appearance and courteous service.
• Maintains and inventories parts in the service vehicle; completes reports per procedure.
