Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a skilled Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial propane and/or oil heating equipment. You will perform efficiency tests, inspections and safety checks, while maintaining customer property and ensuring exceptional service.

The role requires a high school diploma, CETP certification where required, and a valid driver’s license. On-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training preferred.
• CETP certification and state licenses as applicable for propane technicians.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs oil and/or propane heating systems in accordance with codes and company policies.
• Performs efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections.
• Maintains a neat, safe work area and service vehicle; records parts and labor accurately.
• Projects a trusted advisor image through professional appearance and courteous service.
• Responds to on-call shifts as needed and promotes company products and services.
