Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a Service Technician in Maine to install and repair residential and commercial propane and/or oil burner equipment while prioritizing customer service and property respect.

The role offers competitive weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and on-going safety and product training. You will work with a team to ensure safe, reliable service and act as a trusted advisor to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school training preferred.
• Apprentice/Journeyman/Master designation with oil/propane experience as stated.
• Propane CETP certification required for propane technicians.
• All technicians must pass a pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Installs, trouble-shoots and repairs oil and/or propane heating systems per codes and company policies.
• Performs efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections.
• Eliminates call-backs and reduces liability by ensuring safe, accurate work.
• Promotes company image as a trusted advisor through appearance and courteous service.
• Maintains neat, well-equipped service vehicle and logs parts and labor accurately.
• Participates in night/weekend on-call schedule as needed.
• Reports accidents, spills, and liability claims.
