Dead River Company in Auburn, ME is seeking a Service Technician to install and repair residential and commercial propane and/or oil burner equipment. You will prioritize customer service and protect customer property while serving as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing heating equipment to code, performing tune-ups, ensuring safety first, and accurately recording parts and labor.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of oil burner and/or propane training course or CETP/PEP program desired; training and education provided.
• At least 1 year of relevant oil/propane service experience.
• Experience working under a Master for requisite hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair oil/propane heating equipment and appliances per codes and policies.
• Perform efficiency tests, tune-ups, and service inspections.
• Ensure work is completed safely and correctly the first time to minimize callbacks.
• Deliver professional, courteous service while protecting customer property.
• Explain product options to customers and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain organized service vehicle, tools, and inventory.
